A cheddar and beef liver set for two-level training
The Cheddar and Beef Liver Duo pairs our cheese dog treats with our beef liver. One bag is freeze-dried cheddar, the other freeze-dried raw beef liver in the 3 or 6 ounce size you pick, for two reward levels in one pouch.

Why two rewards instead of one
Many trainers keep more than one grade of treat on hand. The ordinary one pays for routine work: a sit at the curb, or a quiet walk past the neighbor's fence. The better one is saved for the moments you want your dog to remember, like coming back the first time you call across a field.
In this set the cheddar does the routine work. The cheddar pieces are small and crunchy and leave no grease in a pouch. The liver is the one you hold back, and a single piece breaks down into as many small bits as you need.
Our high value training treats guide goes further into how people split rewards this way.
A note on dairy
The cheddar bag is cheese, so this set contains dairy. Skip it if your dog has a known problem with dairy, and buy the beef liver on its own instead. The liver bag has one ingredient, beef liver, and no dairy.
What each label says
The liver bag carries our standard back label. As printed on the package label: Crude Protein (min) 62%, Crude Fat (min) 5%, Crude Fiber (max) 9%, Moisture (max) 10%, with 81.6 kcal ME/oz.
Keep the cheddar cubes small and count both treats toward the same daily treat allowance. The cheddar bag has its own label panel printed on the back. Both bags are freeze-dried in small batches in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Duo questions
Which liver size should I choose for the duo?
Pick 3 oz if you train a few times a week or have a small dog. Pick 6 oz for daily sessions. An open liver bag is best used within 30 days, so choose the size you will finish in that time.
Does the cheddar need refrigeration?
No. Once freeze-dried, the cheddar is dry and crunchy and sits in a pouch at room temperature, the same as the liver. Reseal it after opening and keep it cool and dry.
Can I get the duo on a recurring order?
No. Recurring delivery is only offered on the single liver bag, from the buy box on our beef liver page.
