Who we are
A small treat maker with one favorite
Liver Treats is run by Sniff and Shift LLC, a small company in Pennsylvania that makes single-ingredient treats for dogs and cats. If you have met us in person, it was probably at a car show, where we set up a table of treats next to the cars.
Of everything we make, beef liver is the treat we sell the most of. It earned a site of its own.
Where it is made and where the beef comes from
Every bag is freeze-dried in small batches in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Our liver is bought from a Pennsylvania farm. We buy it raw, freeze-dry it without cooking, and pack it into resealable pouches with the label printed on the back.
The same small team makes it, bags it and ships it. When you order, the box comes from us and not from a warehouse that handles a thousand brands.
On the label you will see our mailing address: Sniff & Shift LLC, PO Box 126, Devault, PA 19432. That is where our mail goes. The treats themselves are made in Malvern.

Why a separate site for liver
Our main store at sniffandshift.com sells a lot of treats, from sardines to cheddar. A product page there has room for the basics and not much more. People asking about liver want more than that. They want to know how much to give, and whether a cat can have it too. This site is where we answer those in full, starting with our liver guides and the questions page.
To be plain about it, Liver Treats and Sniff and Shift are the same company. The bag on this site is the same bag sold on the main store, at the same price. Checkout runs through the same Shopify store, with the same Sniff and Shift account.
How we run this site
A few rules we hold ourselves to here. Prices and stock on every page are read from the Sniff and Shift store each time the site is built, so what you see should match the checkout. Reviews come straight from customers who left them on sniffandshift.com, word for word, and we do not write or trim them.
When a guide talks about liver in general, such as what is in it or how much to feed, it names its source. We lean on USDA FoodData Central for what liver contains and on veterinary publishers like VCA Animal Hospitals for feeding guidance. We do not make medical claims about our treats. For anything about your own dog or cat, your veterinarian knows more than we do.
