This set is for households where a single bag disappears fast. People who train every day tend to keep one bag open at home and one in the car or the training bag. Homes with two or three dogs go through liver at a rate one bag cannot keep up with.

Keeping the spare bags fresh

Leave the extra bags sealed until you need them. Unopened, each one is good until the best-by date printed on it, one year from the day it was made. Store them somewhere cool and dry, away from the stove and out of direct sun.

Open one bag at a time. Once a bag is open, finish it within 30 days and press the zip shut between uses. That is the main reason small dogs do better with the 3 ounce version, since an open 6 ounce bag can outlast those 30 days.
