Freeze-dried beef liver treats for dogs, made in Pennsylvania

How it is made
Pennsylvania beef
The liver comes from a farm in Pennsylvania. Nothing else goes into the recipe, because there is no recipe.
Freeze-dried in Malvern
We dry it in small batches at our place in Malvern. No preservatives, fillers or coatings are added.
Bagged by the same people
Each batch goes into a resealable pouch. The front says what it is. The back carries the feeding notes and the guaranteed analysis.

How owners use it
As a training reward. A piece snaps apart in your fingers, so one chunk turns into several small rewards. Owners keep it for the moments that matter, like a recall at the park. Our high value training treats guide shows how trainers break it down.
On the road. The pieces are light and dry, and they leave nothing greasy on your hands. A bag rides along in the door pocket without making a mess.
On top of a meal. The label lists it as a treat, reward or topper, so crumbs from the bottom of the bag can go over dinner. Liver is rich, so a little goes a long way. Vet groups suggest treats stay near a tenth of daily calories, and our guide to how much liver a dog can eat turns that into ounces.
Often ordered with liver
Two more single-ingredient treats we make, sold on sniffandshift.com.
Beef heart is firmer than liver and milder in smell, which suits dogs who want something to chew on. Whole sardines are small fish dried whole, a change of pace from beef.

Quick questions
Is this the same liver sold on sniffandshift.com?
Yes. Liver Treats is our own site for this one product. The bag, the batch and the checkout are the same ones you would get from the main Sniff and Shift store.
Can I share it with my cat?
Yes. It is the same single-ingredient bag for dogs and cats; just break it into pieces sized for a cat. Cats handle liver differently from dogs, so keep the portions small and read our cat guide before you start.
Does an open bag need to go in the fridge?
No. Press the zip closed after each use and keep the bag somewhere cool and dry. Once it is open, plan to finish it within 30 days.
What does shipping cost?
Orders of $50 or more ship free. Below that, the shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay.

Who makes it
A small maker in Malvern
Sniff and Shift is a small Pennsylvania company run by people who like cars and dogs about equally. We make our single-ingredient treats ourselves, and liver is the one we sell the most of. This site exists so liver has a home of its own, with guides that go deeper than a product page can.
